Once you have selected your mathematician from the More Avatars page, you can take the following steps to locate a credible source about this person or their work.
Library
From the library’s homepage, type the name of the mathematician into the Library OneSearch box and select search.

Once you have found a source you would like to use, select the Access Now button beneath the article description. This will take you to the full text of the article.

Web Search
You can also try searching the web for information about your mathematician. Please keep in mind that anyone can post anything on the web, so you’ll need to carefully review the content you decide to use.
One trick you can try to make sure that you only receive results from credible sources, such as government or educational websites, is to add site:.edu or site:.gov to your searches. This tells the search engine that you only want to see resources from these domain types.
