Library Onesearch is the main search box on the library homepage that allows users to search across most of the library's databases in one place and one search.

If you find an article in Library OneSearch that you would like to access later or share with a fellow student or instructor, you can do so by taking the following steps:

1. Once you've located the article you would like to access using Library OneSearch, select the article's title.

2. This will bring up the detailed records page for the article. In the Tools section in the top right corner of the page, select the Share icon (which looks like a curved arrow pointing right).

3. A window will appear in the middle of the page with options to share the article. Select the Create link option to acquire a shareable link to the article.

4. If the article is from EBSCO, you will go directly to the full text of the article. If it is not an EBSCO article, you'll be directed to the article's detailed record page where you can access the full text by selecting the Access Option button near the top of the page.

* Note that when you click on the link, you may be prompted to sign in to access the article. You can sign in using your Student Portal username and password. If you are a faculty member, and you receive this message, enter your faculty e-mail address and password. Select the Full-Text link to access the complete article.

Expert tip: If you find an article in a database other than Library OneSearch, such as ProQuest or JSTOR, and you would like to access it later via a permalink, you can do a title search for the article in Library OneSearch and then follow the steps outlined above.
