Library Onesearch is the main search box on the library homepage that allows users to search across most of the library's databases in one place and one search.

If you find an article in Library OneSearch that you would like to access later or share with a fellow student or instructor, you can do so by taking the following steps:

1. Once you've located the article you would like to access using Library OneSearch, click on the article's title.

Red arrow pointing to the title of the article "Climate Change, Weather Disasters: Read All about It.

2. This will bring up the detailed records page for the article. In the Tools section on the right side of the page, select Permalink.

Red box around the Permalink text in the Tools section.

3. A window will appear just above the article containing the permalink. Copy this link and save it to a Word document so you can access the article later or share it.

Red box around the Permalink text in the Tools section.

4. This permalink will take you back to the detailed record page for the article. On the left portion of the page, you will find a Full-Text link to the article.

Red box around the Check for Full Text link.

* Note that when you click on the permalink, you may be prompted to sign in to access the article. You can sign in using your Student Portal username and password. If you are a faculty member, and you receive this message, enter your faculty e-mail address and password. Select the Full-Text link to access the complete article.

Expert tip: If you find an article in a database other than Library OneSearch, such as ProQuest or JSTOR, and you would like to access it later via a permalink, you can do a title search for the article in Library OneSearch and then follow the steps outlined above.
