PDF format

Most library articles, but not all, will be in PDF format. Once you access the PDF version of the article, you can download it to your computer by clicking the download icon (which looks like a downward pointing arrow) in the top right portion of the article. You can then save it to your computer.

HTML format

For articles in an HTML format, select the download icon in the top right portion of the article as shown above. A popup window will open. Select the download button.

The HTML version of the article will download to your browser. From here you can select the print option within your browser and then save the article as a PDF.

Please note, that the process to download an article may differ depending on the browser you are using. The example above is the Google Chrome browser.

Ebooks

Due to copyright restrictions, some library ebooks cannot be downloaded completely. However, you can usually get all the information you need by downloading a chapter or section of an ebook. When saving sections of an ebook, look for the download icon next to chapter titles in the table of content. You should also see options such as "save pages" or "download chapter PDF" in the tools section.

Our Ebook Central database provides free software you can use to download entire ebooks for up to one hundred and eight days. Click on the “Download Book” button and follow the guided steps.
