There are two very useful resources for help with creating annotated bibliographies: the Writing Center and RefWorks.

Writing Center

Review the UAGC Writing Center Annotated Bibliography guide with template and sample. This guide also provides information on how to format the reference or bibliographic citation.

RefWorks

The UAGC Library also offers access to the citation manager tool RefWorks.

This useful tool allows you to create a personal account and manage your research and citations in one place. While it will not save the actual articles, with RefWorks you can store the citation information for your resources while you are doing research, and then use those resources to generate an annotated bibliography and reference list.

To access RefWorks

1. Go to the RefWorks login page.

2. If you already have an account sign in using your login information. If you need an account click the Create Account link at the bottom of the sign-in page.
