Turnitin is available through your classroom. It is not a feature of the UAGC Library.
What is Turnitin?
Turnitin is a software application that promotes academic integrity and reduces plagiarism through the submission of student papers to check for originality.
This tool is used by faculty to check for instances of plagiarism. Students can use Turnitin to check their work for accidental and unintentional plagiarism, such as missing citations and quotation marks before they submit an assignment.
How do I use Turnitin?
In most classes, there will be an option to submit your paper for an "originality check only" to Turnitin when you submit your assignment in Waypoint. That option should be under "Submission Type."
For more information on how to use Turnitin please refer to the Turnitin Student FAQ, Turnitin Student Guide, or the Introduction to Waypoint and Originality Reports.
If you have questions or issues about Turnitin please contact your adviser.
