Unless your course specifically states that your textbook or a course reading is located in one of the library's ebook databases, such as Ebook Central, the library does not carry or handle textbooks for individual classes.

If your textbook is a Constellation, RedShelf, or VitalSource textbook

If your textbook is a Constellation, RedShelf, or VitalSource textbook it is already preloaded into your class. To access the textbook:

  1. Select Modules from the left navigation bar
  2. Click on Required Resources.

Arrow pointing to the Modules button on the left navigation bar of the classroom and text that reads "1. Select Modules", and another arrow pointing to the "Required Resources" link with the words "2. Select Required Resources"

If your class tells you the textbook is in the library or one of its databases

There should be a link to your textbook in your class under Required Resources. If the link does not work or there is no link, here is how to search for it from the library homepage:

  1.  Click on the Ebooks tab at the bottom of the Library OneSearch box.Arrow pointing to the Ebooks tab on the bottom of the Library OneSearch box
  2. Enter the title of the book you need in the search box. You do not want to include the entire citation, only include the title.
  3. Click Search.

If your textbook is not a Constellation, RedShelf, or VitalSource book

If your textbook is not a Constellation, RedShelf, or VitalSource book or is available in the library, you will need to purchase the textbook from an outside vendor, such as Amazon.
