Career Services

You can receive career service assistance for life. For additional information please see the UAGC Career Services page.

Library Access

Your access to the UAGC library will end approximately 60 days after you graduate. After this, you'll no longer be able to access the collection. You also will be unable to access library tutoring and place an interlibrary loan.

However, once your access ends, there are several ways you can continue to get access to library databases.

  • Your local public library

Most public libraries offer article databases and ebook collections to members of their community. You could use the resources either at the library, or you could access the databases from your home if you had a library card. (Usually, you just have to enter your library card number on the library’s website to access their databases).

  • The library at a university or community college in your city or town

If your town has a university or community college, you may be able to walk into their libraries and use their databases and other resources for your research. Call in advance to see if the library is available to the public.

  • State database collections

In addition, many U.S. states provide residents with free access to collections of electronic resources. See the State Libraries page for more information about the resources available in your state.

  • Web Resources

Google Scholar is another resource you can use to access scholarly materials online, most of which are available for free through open access. For more information on how to use Google Scholar please see the following tip sheet.

  • RefWorks

You will continue to have access to RefWorks once you graduate.

Writing Center

You'll always have access to the UAGC Writing Center where you can find many writing and APA guides and samples. Upon graduation, you won't have access to writing tutoring or paper review services or free premium Grammarly account.

Tutoring

You'll no longer have access to the tutoring services provided by UAGC once you graduate. Here are some outside resources that you may want to explore:

Canvas

Your access to the Canvas classroom including course materials such as your textbooks will end 90 days after you graduate.

Other Services

To see what additional resources are available once your graduate, please see the Alumni Association.
