Even when you have a complete citation, finding an article in the UAGC Library can be tricky at times.
Taking the following citation as an example, here are some steps you can try when doing a title search for an article just isn't enough.
- Hill, A., & Martinez-Diaz, L. (2020). Adapt or Perish: Preparing for the Inescapable Effects of Climate Change. Foreign Affairs, 99(1), 107.
Using the Library OneSearch advanced search option, try searching by title and author. In the first box, type a few words from the article title leaving off all punctuation. In the second box, type the author's last name and change the "All field" box to "Author - AU." Then select search.

You can also try locating the journal within the library and then doing a publication search by taking the following steps:
1. Within the Library OneSearch box, select the Journal Titles tab and type the name of the journal into the search box. Then press search.

2. Locate the journal within the results and select one of the database links to access the full text of the journal. Take note of the date ranges available for each database and pick the one that would contain the article for which you are looking. For example, the Hill article is from 2020 so you will want to choose a database that provides access to the current date.

3. For this example, I chose ProQuest Central. From this database, I can search within this publication to find the article that I am looking for.
