When searching Google Scholar you will find a lot of articles that will not provide full-text access to the resource.

While you cannot get to these articles in the UAGC Library's collection directly through Google Scholar, there is a simple way to check the library to see if that article is in our collection.

When you find an article in Google Scholar that does not have full-text access, make note of the citation information about the article, including the title, author, the journal in which it was published, and publication date. This information can be easily accessed by clicking on the citation tool below the article's description.

Then you can go to the UAGC Library to check to see if the article is available within the collection, which you can do by taking the following steps:

1. Using the Library OneSearch box, type in the title of the article you are looking for, making sure to put quotation marks around the title so the database knows that you want to see this entire phrase together. Then click search.

2. If the article is in the library's collection, it should be within the results list.

If your article is not part of our subscriptions, you may be able to obtain the article through interlibrary loan. The interlibrary loan system allows you to borrow a copy of the article from another library.

To find out more or request an article from interlibrary loan:

1. Check out the Interlibrary Loan section of the Services page of the library website.

2. Click Access ILL.

3. Read through the information that comes up, then click I understand. Take me to ILL!

4. If this is your first time using this service you will need to set up an account by clicking Create an Account. From there you can log in and submit your request.
