ProQuest is a database that provides access to both popular resources such as magazines and newspapers as well as scholarly and peer reviewed journal articles.

ProQuest databases are available through the UAGC Library subscription including ABI/INFORM Collection, Business Market Research Collection, Research Library, US Newsstream, as well as many other subject-specific databases.

To get to ProQuest:

1. Select the Journal Articles button located below the Library OneSearch box.

Yellow box around the Journal Articles button on the library's homepage.

2. Then select the ProQuest (Search All ProQuest Databases) link.

ProQuest Search tips:

  • Enter keywords into the search boxes. Try to keep one concept per box.
  • If you use a short phrase in a search box, put quotations around the words. (Example: “environmental impact”).
  • To limit your results to scholarly (peer reviewed) materials, check the box next to Peer Reviewed under the search boxes.
  • On the results page, use the Show Abstract link in the bottom right corner of a result to read the abstract or summary of an article.

If you still have questions you can chat in real-time with a librarian here.
